Local-Only Authenticator
TrustUKey stores authenticator secrets locally in browser extension storage. The vault is encrypted with a master password that is never stored by the extension.
Information We Do Not Collect
- No personal data collection.
- No analytics.
- No tracking.
- No ads.
- No remote servers for authenticator secrets.
- No seed phrase, private key, wallet connection, or signing permission requests.
2FA Secrets
2FA secrets entered by the user remain in the encrypted local vault. Exported backups are encrypted and can be decrypted only with the vault password used at the time of export.
Data Retention
Encrypted vault data remains in local browser extension storage until the user deletes the extension data, removes accounts, imports another backup, or uninstalls the extension.
